How do I take care for my Charmsworld jewellery?
To ensure the longevity of Charmsworld jewelry, contact with factors that may change the color and surface of the material or oxidation should be avoided, as well as any activity that may result in possible shocks.
Pure silver has a tendency to tarnish over time, however frequent cleaning with a soft cloth will restore its luster. Tarnishing or oxidation on the surface of silver jewelry is likely to occur due to moisture, perspiration or any other factor that has affected its surface, such as cosmetics, perfumes, creams, increased heat, chlorine, etc. Please avoid any of the above but also use during sleep, sports or other activities.
The same applies to all 14K gold plated and 14K rose gold plated jewelry. Over time, a change in the color of the jewelry is observed, as well the coating naturally weakens, however this is part of the normal wear and tear of jewelery and is not recognized as a manufacturing defect. Chlorine, perfumes and cleaning agents etc. they can cause faster fading or loss of the coating than usual.
How should I store my Charmsworld jewellery?
How you store your jewelry is an important factor that can affect its appearance. A cleaning cloth won’t remove scratches, so it’s important to protect your jewelry as much as you can. Store your jewelry separately in special jewelry boxes to prevent it from oxidizing.
Try to keep your jewelry away from extreme temperatures such as direct sunlight, extreme cold and moisture. Never use poly vinyl plastic bags (like the ones we use in trash cans) as they contain sulfur compounds, which oxidize silver faster.
Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom.
Please note that Charmsworld gift boxes are not suitable for long-term storage of your jewelery as they are not airtight and do not protect the jewelery from moisture and air.
How do I clean my Charmsworld jewellery?
To maintain the beautiful appearance of your jewelry, do not skip cleaning it at regular intervals.
Place your jewelry in warm water with a drop of dishwashing detergent and let it soak overnight. In the morning, clean them carefully with a very soft toothbrush, then rinse thoroughly with clean running water and dry with a soft towel or cloth. Avoid wetting parts made of organic materials such as: fabric, wood, pearl and leather or artificial such as enamel. This method is not suitable for 14K gold plated or 14K rose gold plated jewelry.
CLEANING WITH CHEMICALS
Charmsworld jewelry should never be exposed to liquid silver cleaner or other harsh chemicals (even special jewelry cleaners).
Chemical cleaners can change the color of jewelry and damage its organic parts (such as leather, wood or pearl)
HELPFUL TIPS
Always open the clasp to remove your bracelet.
We recommend using clips to distribute the weight of the symbols into 3 equal parts.
Add a safety chain to your Charmsworld bracelet to prevent symbols from being lost if the clasp is not properly closed and opened.
